Review: Mouse’s Christmas Gift

I had a privilege of receiving an early copy of this wonderful children’s Christmas book. I was blown away by the simple, clear message of the meaning of Christmas, as well as the beautiful illustrations. I recommend this book for children and those of us still young at heart!

My Review:

Mouse is worried. It’s the day before Christmas Eve and nothing in the church is ready. The church parson has fallen ill and the townspeople lack money for Christmas. But- “Did it really take money to celebrate Christmas?”
Ms. Baker weaves together a sweet Christmas story that hits the heart of why we celebrate.

***Giveaway!***

Leave a comment with your favorite Christmas movie, either from the big screen or small.

On December 10th, I’ll select one at random to receive a free copy of Mouse’s Christmas gift.

  1. Our favorite Christmas movie is Charlie Brown’s Christmas. We love cuddling with it on the couch with the Christmas tree lights on.

  2. My favorite Christmas movie is Home Alone. So many are close seconds, though!

Mice have always been my favorite animals. My nickname was Mouse throughout elementary, and I loved watching the few field mice that made it past 20 some farm cats and into our old farm house. I’d love to share this Christmas story with my 4, soon-to-be 5 little kids. ❤

  3. Fun to “meet” all of you virtually! Thanks for entering and I can’t wait to see who wins! My favorite Christmas movie is “Elf” but I also am a big Hallmark movie fan. 🐭🎄🎁❤️

  4. I have Mouse’s Christmas Gift on my Kindle. What a lovely story of sharing and hope in the Christmas season, and a great lesson for any day of the year. We always enjoy watching The Muppet Christmas Carol together. It is great!

  5. Elf is my favorite. Just find Will Ferrell so funny. Would love a copy of Mouse’s Christmas Gift for my school library.

  6. It’s a Wonderful Life. We do have a wonderful life and the impact that all of us make is not to be forgotten

  7. My favorite Christmas movie is the version of A Christmas Carol that has Patrick Stewart as Scrooge! I already own a copy of Mindy’s beautiful book, but if I win, I will donate it to our church library!

  8. My favorite Christmas movie is The Shop Around the Corner also starring Jimmy Stewart. It’s the original You’ve Got Mail!
    I also love The Nativity!

We love your book , Mindy! It adds an extra touch of Christmas cheer to our coffee table. Merry Christmas!!🎄🎁

  9. Mindy, your book looks wonderful! If I don’t win, I will definitely be purchasing a copy. My family and I love to watch ‘A Charlie Brown Christmas’ every year.
